Beach Park is an idyllic setting for your special day. You are greeted by a long
curved sandy beach that terminates in a short peninsula with a small palm
covered island, a view of the volcanic point of land called Koko Head and an
expansive ocean view surrounded by beach on both sides. If you want a
photographic memory that shows tropical foliage as well as the beach & ocean,
Waialae is a good bet year around. If you want a great sunset, best time of the
year is October - March. Generally there are few people on this beach
because the water is very shallow with a hard rocky bottom, but few waves due to
the barrier reef offshore. There are so many better beaches to go to for
sunbathing, swimming & water activities, most do not come here. See
